Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler odlična peta na MSP, zelo dobri nastopi tudi ostalih treh čolnov
Danes se je v Plovdivu (Bolgarija) zaključilo letošnje mladinsko (U19) Svetovno prvenstvo v veslanje, na katerem so nastopili štirje slovesnki čolni. Najbolje se je odrezal dvojni dvojec z Markom Kosmačem in Svitom Koblerjem, ki je osvojil peto mesto med 31 uvrščenimi. Tudi ostali trije čolni so nastopili dobro in v večjem delu izpolnili pričakovanja. Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler sta na majskem EP osvojila bronsta medaljo in sta tudi na SP spadala v širši krog favoritov. To vlogo sta v Plovdivu skozi kvalifikacije tudi prevzemala, saj sta imela tretji čas četrtfinala, polfinale pa sta zmagala in imela drugi najboljši čas. Izvrstno v Plovdivu - Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler v finalu A, Tevž Pirih v polfinalu
Naša reprezentanca nadaljuje z odličnimi predstevemi na mladinskem sveovnem prvenstvu v Plovdivu - Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler sta zmagala polfinale in bosta nastopila v velikem finalu dvojnih dvojcev, Tevž Pirih pa je bil tretji v repasažu in se je prebil med dvanajst najboljših posameznikov. Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler sta že v četrtfinalu prikazala odlično predstavo in imeli tretji najboljši čas. Danes sta ob zmagi v svoji polfinalni skupini postavila drugi čas (6:31,45) izmed vseh 12 polfinalistov, boljša od njiju sta bila le zmagovalca drugega polfinala Turka s časom 6:31,31. Super slovenski četrtek v Plovdivu
Današnji tekmovalni dan na mladinskem Svetovnem prvenstvu v Plovdivu je bil za slovensko reprezentanco zelo uspešen - vsi naši čolni so iz predtekmovanja napredovali v nadaljnje izločilne boje, dva sta že v polfinalu, med najboljših dvanajst. Najbolj zaposlena sta bila Marko Kosmač in Svit Kobler, ki sta zjutraj nastopila v predtekmovanju, iz katerega sta se brez težav uvrstila v popoldanski četrtfinale. Tu sta se na prvi pogled komaj uvrstila v polfinale, saj sta bila tretja za posadkama Turčije in Estonije in tik pred čolnoim Italije. Širši pogled razkrije, da sta bila osmeljenca prav Italijana, saj so prve tri posadke imeli tudi absolutne najboljše čase izmed vseh 24 četrtfinalistov. Mladinci se vračajo na sceno - štirje naši čolni na SP U19 v Plovdivu
Plovdiv (Bolgarija) ta teden gosti Svetovno prvenstvo U19, kjer bodo nastopili štirje naši čolni. Gre za mladince, ki so že uspešno nastopili na Evropskem prvenstvu meseca maja v Brandenburgu. V enojcu bo med dekleti nastopila Blažka Sedovšek, ki je bila na EP deveta. Tokrat bo tekmovala v konkurenci 26 deklet, v predtekmovanju pa se bo Blažka pomerila z AIN2, JPN, MAR in BEL. Med fanti Slovenijo zastopa Tevž Pirih, ki je bil na EP deseti. v moških enojcih je prijavljenih 25 skifistov, Tevža pa bo v predtekmovanju nastopil ob 10:17 v konkurenci NOR, HON, BUL in GBR. Na sobotni generalni skupščini Evropske veslaške zveze European Rowing je Veslaška zveza Slovenije kandidirala Bled za organizacijo Evropskega prvenstva prihodnje leto. Po predstevitvi so bili delegati evropskih zvez navdušeni in so soglasno podprli kandidaturo. Bled bo tako med 28. in 30. majem 2027 še tretjič v zgodovini gostil prvenstvo Stare celine, po letih 1956 in 2023. "Soglasno podporo evropskih zvez ocenjujem kot izraz zaupanja v naše sposobnosti, znanje in izkušnje kot gostitelja velikih veslaških tekmovanj. Na EP v Vareseju Filip-Matej Pfeifer osmi, Nina Kostanjšek deseta
Zadnji dan Evropskega prvenstva v Vareseju je močna nevihta v bližini jezera povzročila zamik programa tekem za dobri dve uri, kar je pomenilo kar nekaj logističnih izzivov za organizatorja in ekipe. K sreči na prizorišču ni bilo hujšega, so pa grmenje in strele v trenutku spraznile jezero. V finalu B moških enojcev je Filip-Matej Pfeifer ponovno počasneje krenil s starta, potem pa v drugi poloivici proge močno pospešil in enega za drugim lovil in prehiteval tekmece. V zadnji četrtini proge je zlomil večnega tekmeca Madžara Molnarja, v samem  zaključku tekme pa je malo manjkalo, da bi prehitel še ves čas vodilnega Norvežana Juela. EP Varese 2026 - Vsi naši čolni v finalu B, dvojec zmagal in je skupno sedmi
V današnjih polfinalnih nastopih Filip-Matej Pfeifer in Nina Kostanjšek sta bila peti oziroma šesta, kar ni zadostovalo za preboj v veliki finale, tako da boste jutri prvenstvo zaključila v finalu B, tekmi za razvrstitev med 7. in 12. mestom. V takšni tekmi je danes zmagal naš dvojec z Isakom Žvegljem in Jakobom Brglezom in tako zasedel skupno sedmo mesto.   Filip-Matej Pfeifer, ki je odkrito ciljal na finale, je v zelo zahtevni polfinalni skupini startal solidno in do polovice proge držal stik s tekmeci, edino olimpijski prvak Oliver Zeidler (GER) je ponovno veslal daleč spredaj v svojem svetu.
